Day 1 – Old and New Delhi Sightseeing

Tour old Delhi, tingling the taste buds in Chandni Chowk, and visit the Jama Masjid and the Red Fort.

When you arrive in Delhi, feel the fresh Indian air and hunt for your accommodation somewhere in old Delhi to get a whiff of Delhi’s intriguing past and exciting present.

Chandni Chowk: A Bustling Bazaar Experience

Amidst the crowded narrow lanes and the bustling bazaar of Chandni Chowk take a walk to get the best of old Delhi experience.

Old Delhi or former Shahjanabad was founded when the Mughal ruler Shah Jahan wanted to shift his capital from Agra. This one is full of history and legends. You’ve got to be ready for time travel.

Furthermore, make sure to gobble up the street food in Chandni Chowk and it’s a promise you’ll be left wanting for more. The lingering aroma will do it all for you.

Post lunch, take a tour of Jama Masjid and it’s a courtyard. It is one of India’s biggest mosques and one of the most opulent examples of Islamic architecture.

Day 2 – Sightseeing in Delhi continues..

Visiting Humayun’s Tomb, the Qutub Minar, the India Gate, and shopping in the evening at the Connaught Place.

Furthermore, keep the second day for extensive travelling all around the city.

You should be visiting the Humayun’s Tomb which is a mausoleum of the great Mughal ruler Humayun. The sprawling greenery around it and the ethereal architecture like that of the Taj Mahal will charm you.

Next up on the list should be one of the tallest minarets in the world – The Qutub Minar.

Take a walk in the complex and marvel at the inscriptions on the walls of this Indo-Islamic minaret that speak of the verses from the Quran. Beautiful, isn’t it?

Day 3 – New Delhi to Jaipur.

Post a 5-hour drive to Jaipur, soak in the charm- pink-hued streets, historic grandeur, and pulsating culture. 

End your day at Chokhi Dhani, a crafted village brimming with Rajasthani pride. Feast on authentic local cuisine as folk dancers, musicians, and singers smother you.

Day 4 – Sightseeing of Jaipur..

Visiting Hawa Mahal,  City Palace, and Nahargarh Fort. Elephant ride at Amer Fort, and basically shop till you drop.

The fourth day of your best Golden Triangle Itinerary that you could have gotten for yourself is going to be one of the most hectic, yet eventful days.

Brace yourself for a slap of adventure and a kiss of fun.

Smacked right in the heart of the city is this magnificent palace of winds. Hawa Mahal takes you back in time when the women of the royal households would take a sneak peek of the processions on the street while basking in the winds at the top of this 5 stories red sandstone wonder.

Day 5 – Jaipur to Agra..

Gear up for a 238 Km road trip to Agra, the Mughal-era gem rich in history and heritage! 

Put up near the Taj Mahal, savour famous Agra street food, and shop for leather footwear. Oh, don’t miss the famous ‘Panchi ka Petha’! 


Day 6 – Agra sightseeing covering the Taj Mahal.

Starting your day with a nice breakfast for the day is going to be hectic but amazing beyond imagination nonetheless.

You should head to witness one of the wonders of the world. The Taj Mahal is an ivory miracle that has stood through the ravages of time.

The epitome of eternal love, this mausoleum is magnificent and everything beyond belief. Take a walk in the complex and marvel at its timeless beauty.

Next up, you should be visiting the lofty and robust Agra Fort. Situated by the banks of river Yamuna, this strategically built fort was home to the Mughal Ruler Akbar. To this day, this red sandstone edifice is under the Indian military.

Later, you should take a short drive to the quaint Mughal complex in Fatehpur Sikri.
