ROUTE

Day to Day Itinerary

We’ll meet you outside the New Delhi airport with our warm Indian welcome. A private chauffeur will drive you to the hotel. Check-in at your rooms and make yourself at home for the day.

Hope you had a good night’s sleep because today we are going for a walking tour of Old Delhi. We explore: -

  •     Jama Masjid (A holy hideout in the arms of Allah!): Built in the 17th century, this colossal edifice is oft regarded as the most majestic mosque in India in contemporary times.
  •     Red Fort (Architectural grandeur of the Mughal Empire!): Home to the emperors of the Mughal dynasty for 200 years, this red stone, a UNESCO World Heritage gem, takes you back in time with its regal architecture.
  •     Qutub Minar (Sky is the limit!): The final stop for the day will be the world's tallest brick tower, Qutub Minar.
  •   Meena Bazaar (Shopping in the Old-Delhi charm!): One thing about Indian bazaars (markets) is that the vibrance and aesthetic quotient are one of a kind!

A special attraction is the famous rickshaw/tuk-tuk ride that will act as your transportation on the city tour. Or, if you’d like, feel free to take a walking tour too. Whatever sails your boat!

Early in the morning, we hit the road from Delhi to Agra, in our comfortable and spacious ride. After checking in and freshening up, we head to the Taj Mahal just in time for sunset-a sight for the eyes!

In the evening, a special walking tour of Agra awaits us. Up close, we explore the vibrant markets and the famous food scene, sampling local delicacies.

Today our Family Trip to Rajasthan unfolds a full-day sightseeing of Agra.

  •   Taj Mahal (Mausoleum of Mughal romance): Sightseeing for the day begins with THE Taj Mahal, a wonder of the wonders, a legend in its own time, and a name that speaks for itself.
  •     Agra Fort (Immortal emblem of the Mughal power): Shreds of evidence of the Mughal archaeological prowess will take you aback throughout the Agra day tour- Agra Fort is one.
  •   Itimad-ud-Daula (Also goes by the “Baby Taj”): Discover the enchanting beauty of this marble mausoleum, with its intricate inlays and ornate architecture that looks like a miniature of the Taj (thus the name!).

As the sun sets, the evening is for you to cherish. Walk around the streets of Agra and devour the street food or go for a gourmet Mughlai dinner.

We start early today and hit the road from Agra to Ranthambore with two exciting stops along the way!

First, we will visit Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned Mughal city, which now is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next, we will explore the ancient Abhaneri Step Well, a stunning exemplar of India's architectural ingenuity.

After a long day of exploration and journey, we arrive in Ranthambore, ready to immerse ourselves in the wild tomorrow!

Today we thrill in the wild spirit of Ranthambore National Park. This former hunting ground of Maharajas is now a crucial tiger reserve, teeming with diverse wildlife.

Embark on a thrilling 4WD safari through the rugged wilderness. Keep your eyes peeled and your cameras handy. A magnificent tiger might emerge from the lush foliage, while a supporting cast of hyenas, jackals, and more paints a vibrant picture of life in the wild.

Witness the power and grace of Indian wildlife in the wild heart of Rajasthan, in Ranthambore National Park.

After a morning jungle safari with the promise of another exciting encounter, depart Ranthambore National Park for Jaipur, the vibrant capital of Rajasthan.

Check-in and rest up for tomorrow.

Wind Palace (A Jaipur Icon!): Let’s start our sightseeing with a visit to the Palace of Wind, Hawa Mahal. The Hawa Mahal is iconic in Jaipur because of its seamless blend of Islamic, Mughal, and Rajput architectural styles.

  •   City Palace (The Seat of the Maharajas!): If you love forts and know about their history and the lives of the royals, City Palace is just the place!
  •   Amer Fort (Ramparts of the Raj!): Fabricated out of red and white sandstone and marble, the architecture of the Amer Fort is a beauteous fusion of Rajputana and Mughal fashion.
  •   Nahargarh Fort (The Tiger’s Lair!): Walk up to the Nahargarh Fort, perched atop a rugged hill, and marvel at the breathtaking panoramas that stretch out before you.

We are sure that by now you are famished. We got your back and stomach too!

Besides being a feast for the eyes, Jaipur promises a treat for the tastebuds.

Today, as we leave Jaipur's cityscape behind, we take a scenic journey to Nimaj, entering into the rustic charm of Rajasthan. Settling down in our rural retreat, we unwind and prepare for a tranquil exploration tomorrow.

We wander through the narrow streets, discovering hidden gems like the 19th-century Nimaj Fort, its intricately carved temples, and the vibrant marketplace.

Meet the friendly locals, learn about their traditional crafts, and even try your hand at pottery-making or turban-tying!

Don't forget to savour the authentic Rajasthani flavours at a local lunch and enjoy the warm hospitality that Nimaj is famous for.

Bidding farewell to the rural charm of Nimaj, today we take a scenic journey to Jodhpur, the “Blue City”.

  •       Mehrangarh Fort (Citadel of the Sun!): Wander through the mighty Mehrangarh Fort, where legends of battles and monarchy linger in the wind.
