ROUTE

Day to Day Itinerary

Namaste! Welcome to India!

Your private chauffeur will give you a warm Indian welcome and whisk you to your luxurious Delhi hotel.

The rest of the day is yours to unwind and recharge.

Today is for you to dive headfirst into exploring iconic landmarks like the majestic Jama Masjid, the towering Qutub Minar, and the awe-inspiring Red Fort.

A special attraction is the famous rickshaw/tuk-tuk ride that will act as your transportation on the city tour.

The rest of the evening is for you to enjoy the food tour of Delhi.

Our next stop on the trip is Agra!

The city was once the capital of the Mughal Empire; it provides you with an all-sensory experience of the Mughal architectural finesse.

Sightseeing for the day begins with THE Taj Mahal, a wonder of the wonders, a legend in its own time, and a name that speaks for itself.

We will behold the monumental Agra Fort, a powerful fortress whispering tales of Mughal architectural prowess.

Off to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, we go!

En route to Jaipur, we will halt at Fatehpur Sikri, an eminent abandoned city of the Mughal Emperor Akbar.

We continue on our journey to the Pink City.

Let’s start our Rajasthan Forts and Palaces Tour with a visit to the Amer Fort. Fabricated out of red and white sandstone and marble, the architecture of the Amer Fort is a beauteous fusion of Rajputana and Mughal fashion.

Next, walk up to the Nahargarh Fort, perched atop a rugged hill, and marvel at the breathtaking panoramas stretching before you.

We start with the City Palace. If you love forts and love knowing about their history and the lives of the royals, City Palace is just the place!

Next, we visit the Wind Palace. It’s iconic in Jaipur because of its high-screen facade with nearly 900 jharokhas (latticed windows).

In the second half, we leave for our next destination on this Rajasthan Forts and Palaces Tour, which is Rajasthan’s very own open-air art gallery, Shekhawati.

Immerse yourself in the rich artistic heritage of Shekhawati on a captivating guided walk.

Explore the exquisitely adorned havelis, mansions built by prosperous merchants between 1830 and 1930.

Marvel at the profusion of intricate frescoes that adorn their walls, depicting scenes from mythology, history, and everyday life. As you walk, meet local artisans who keep this traditional art form alive, and learn the fascinating techniques used to restore these crumbling mansions.

Journey off the beaten path today, passing by charming Rajasthani villages en route to Nagaur.

Once a crucial bastion that sheltered the Maharaja of Jodhpur, the 12th-Century Chittorgarh Fort now offers stunning views from its ramparts.

After settling into your accommodation, spend the rest of the day at your leisure. You can enjoy the golden hues of the sunset while strolling around the fort, soaking in the panoramic vistas of Nagaur town.

Start your day with a guided exploration of Nagaur’s charming old city, discovering hidden mosques within its ancient walls.

Later, embark on a scenic drive through the vast Thar Desert en route to Jaisalmer, the “Golden City”.

After breakfast, start the day tour with the UNESCO wonder, Jaisalmer Fort. Next, delve into history at Bada Bagh, a serene garden complex with royal cenotaphs.

If you have time on your hands, a serene oasis in the heart of the desert, Gadisar Lake offers a welcome respite.

Cap off your exhausting day here.

Say bye to Jaisalmer and hi to Thar Desert!

Your chariot today? A beautiful camel!

Take a fun ride through the golden dunes, exploring hidden villages nestled amidst the arid landscape.

At sunset, as it casts its warm glow over the sand, return to your luxurious desert camp nestled in the village of Manvar.

Unwind under a canopy of stars as you are treated to a traditional performance of Rajasthani music and dance- a fitting end to a magical day!

After an early breakfast, we drive to the next destination of our Rajasthan Forts and Palaces Tour, the “Blue City” of Jodhpur.

In the afternoon, take a Blue City walking tour. Walk down the iridescent blue alleys- oh, a photographer’s paradise!

Stroll around the poetic sea of boxy indigo houses stretching far and beyond! Take advantage of the sunset from one of the rocky outcrop viewpoints!

In the evening, get some shopping done in the bustling markets. Don’t forget to try the delicious samosas and other snacks!

Wander through the mighty Mehrangarh Fort, where legends of battles and monarchy linger in the wind. Try not to be transported to a different era altogether!

When your tummy groans from all the exploration, savour regal Rajasthani cuisine in palatial settings- royal style!

On our way to Udaipur, we will take a stop for a while at Ranakpur

Rightfully nicknamed 'a spiritual oasis', Ranakpur is a significant pilgrimage for Jain pilgrims. Home to a sterling collection of Jain temples, it echoes the pristine architectural brilliance of Jain artistry and sculpture.

We shall enjoy a special vegetarian Jain lunch at the temple today.

We are off to Udaipur.

Retire at a heritage hotel in Udaipur.

Our final destination for the Rajasthan Forts and Palaces Tour is Udaipur, the “City of Lakes”.

Begin your day with the City Palace tour. Walk through courtyards adorned with intricate mosaics and historical artefacts. Witness the elegant combination of Rajasthani, European, and Chinese architecture.

Set on the banks of Lake Pichola, in the afternoon, you can enjoy a private Lake Pichola sunset cruise

That’s a wrap for this Rajasthan Forts and Palaces Tour.

After a farewell breakfast, a private car whisks you to the Udaipur Airport for your flight back to Delhi.

We are looking forward to hosting you again soon!
