We bid farewell to Udaipur and hit the road to Bera, a hidden gem popular for its wild leopards.
Upon reaching our heritage stay, we rest up, and as the sun dips, we get ready for the ultimate thrill- an evening leopard safari!
Bera is one of the few places where leopards roam free among ancient granite hills. Wildlife lovers, rejoice!
Spot these elusive cats in their natural habitat and snap a frame you won’t forget.
Rise and shine!
Early in the morning, we kick off our safari in the rugged terrains of Bera and Jawai. Renowned for their high leopard population, this is your best chance to spot these big cats.
As the sun rises, watch leopards gracefully navigate the granite hills, an experience that’s both rare and lasting.
Keep your cameras handy for other wildlife too- crocodiles basking by the Jawai Dam and a vibrant array of over one hundred migratory bird species.
We return for a hearty breakfast and some well-deserved rest.
As the evening approaches, we gear up for our second safari because the shifting light opens a new window into the wilderness. We venture into different zones and track these leopards in action.
Don’t forget to capture the sunset views over the Jawai Bandh, a picturesque backdrop to our adventure!
End the night with a cozy bonfire, sharing stories and savouring traditional Rajasthani cuisine under the starlit sky.
After a wholesome breakfast, we depart Bera and head on a scenic drive to Deogarh, a hidden gem of Rajasthan. Rolling hills and quaint villages set the perfect mood for the journey!

In Jodhpur, we will explore the crown jewel of the Blue City, Mehrangarh Fort. Inside, you will be charmed by the spiritual significance of the Chamunda Mataji Temple, dedicated to the royal family’s deity. Take a moment to observe the handprints near the Loha Pol (Iron Gate)- these are sati marks of royal women who self-immolated on their husbands’ pyres.
After a well-rounded tour, we are off to Osian, often referred to as the “Gateway to the Thar Desert”. We hit the road from Osian to Jaisalmer with two quick stops. First, Pokhran, a historic town known for the fourteenth-century Pokhran Fort. Second, Ramdevra, a sacred village housing the Ramdevra Temple.
