Bikaner is approximately 330 km away from Jaipur and takes up to 6 hours to reach. So, when you arrive here, check into your pre-booked hotel and take some time to relax.

In the evening, you can visit some local temples and shop for some traditional items in the market streets. Afterward, return to your hotel and take a good sleep. Because a full day of sightseeing in Bikaner awaits you the following day.

1. City Palace City Palace in Jaipur is a well-known tourist attraction in the old part of town. This vast palace complex was constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh in 1729-1732, occupying one-seventh of the walled city. There are a number of courtyards, buildings, and gardens in the palace, including the Mubarak Mahal and the Chandra Mahal. At the City Palace Museum, there are a number of unique handcrafted products presented in the form of exhibits that reflect the royal heritage of the palace. Plus it also has an acute and detailed facade that combines Mughal and Rajput architectural styles. Despite the fact that the outer walls of the palace were built by Jai Singh II, the palace itself has undergone a variety of changes over the years, some of them dating back as far as the early 20th century. There are three gates in the City Palace, of which two are open to the public: the Virendra Pol and the Udai Pol. 3. Jagdish Temple Built-in 1651, Jagdish Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This temple features an awe-inspiring pagoda which is 24 meters high and adorned with sculptures of musicians, elephants, ballet dancers, and horsemen. It is the city's biggest and most magnificent temple. Visitors are greeted by two enormous stone elephants at the entrance.

Then one must climb 32 marble steps to reach the main shrine. In the inner corner of the doorway of Lord Vishnu is an image of Garuda (celestial bird), who guards the entrance to his abode. A total of four smaller shrines are surrounded by the main shrine, each dedicated to different gods and goddesses. Since this is an exotic temple, you should inspect every corner of it. You can also discover more about the stories behind 50 pillars and the paintings on the temple walls. 4. Monsoon Palace Perched atop a hill, the Monsoon Palace illuminates Udaipur's skyline. This palace, once known as Sajjangarh Palace, provides a panoramic view of the surrounding lakes, countryside, and palaces. Monsoon Palace is best viewed during sunsets in Udaipur because the orange glow reflects off the palace. This palatial residence is located high in the Aravali mountains, overlooking Lake Pichola and Fatehsagar Lake.

A visit to this palace will also give you the opportunity to see Sajjangarh Wildlife Sanctuary at the bottom of the hill. This sanctuary surrounding the Monsoon Palace is home to reptiles, wild boars, sambhars, nilgais, tigers, hyenas, and panthers. 1. Lake Badi There is an artificial freshwater lake called Badi Lake on the outskirts of the city. Badi Lake was built between 1652 and 1680 by Maharaja Raj Singh, covering a huge area of 155 square kilometers. Badi Lake is popular as a picnic spot, and a place to enjoy utter peace and tranquility because it is not surrounded by tourist crowds. Swimming is also possible in the lake, and there are a number of kiosks (shamiyanas) along the embankments for relaxation. Another major attraction at the place is a hilltop called 'Bahubali.’ Aerial views of the landscape can be enjoyed here. Bahubali hill is even suitable for trekking. In recent years, this activity has gained a lot of momentum and popularity among tourists. It is not recommended to take children on the trek since it is rather tricky. The right diversion from Badi Lake will lead you to this trek. Keep going until you come across a tin shop and a temple across the direction of 'Silence Resort.'

2. Fateh Sagar Lake Fateh Sagar, an artificial lake in the shape of a pear, consists of three tiny islands. So, visiting each island is one of the most common activities at the lake. On the first island, Nehru Park has been created. Spend some time at Nehru Park if you love art and nature. Another island is home to beautiful water fountains.

These fountains are lit up in the evening to enhance the beauty of the area. Those who are fascinated with astronomy will be delighted to learn that the third island houses the region's best solar observatory, Udaipur Solar Observatory. The above three islands can be explored by taking a scenic boat ride and enjoying the view of the lake. Your heart will melt when you visit this place.
