From the Mughal splendor of Delhi, to the eternal love story of the Taj Mahal in Agra, to the regal opulence of Jaipur, the Luxury Golden Triangle Tour in India is where every mile unfolds like a chapter of an ancient epic.
In Delhi, colonial grandeur meets Mughal legacy. Lose yourself in the labyrinth of Old Delhi’s Chandni Chowk, where spice-laden air mingles with temple bells and street symphonies. Based on 31 reviewsVerified Odisha Tribal Tour My wife and I recently had the opportunity to visit Odisha for our 1st time for a tribal tour. We were most fortunate to have chosen Karan of The Grand Indian Route to arrange this tour. It was amazing as we visited many isolated villages and interacted with various local animist tribes. It was surely the most authentic tribal experience of my life and it has my highest recommendation. The Grand Indian Route chose Jitu as our guide. He was phenomenal and speaks 12 local dialects which allowed us to meet many villagers who did not speak other languages. We visited villages that are rarely seen by outsiders and the people were as curious about us as we were about them. We were not seen as tourists but rather, were treated like family by the local people. Also, our driver and car were 1st class, and the accommodations were fine. This is not a luxury tour; it is a back country exploration of often hidden tribal cultures. And was truly one of the best and most enlightening travel experiences ever. If you are interested in travel off the beaten track, and in meeting various animist cultures, this is the tour for you. Robert BVerified Amazing experience exploring India with the Grand Indian Route Highly recommend the Grand Indian Route if you’re planning a trip to India. Whichever part of India you’ll choose to visit, you won’t be disappointed if you ask the Grand Indian Route to organise your trip.To start with, our contact person at the Grand Indian Route - Karan - was very polite, responsive, transparent, reliable and considered all of our needs and wishes when organising the trip. Moreover, he was constantly in contact with us during the trip and was always requesting for feedback about the trip, guides, drivers, hotels, places, activities, etc. We very much appreciated such attention and care. The trip itself was extremely interesting, full of activities, sightseeing experiences, great food suggestions, authentic and clean places to stay, as well as warm people. The itinerary exceeded our expectations. We had only two weeks in India, but visited Mumbai, New Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, several places in Kerala region - this was amazing as we managed to visit both - big cities and northern part of India, as well as nature and south of India. The services provided by the Grand Indian Route were outstanding - transportation was very comfortable, while the drivers were extremely reliable and always on time. If you’d be looking for a super experienced driver in northern part of India, ask for Vijandra as he’s certainly one of the best. To add more, all guides provided by the Grand Indian Route were very professional and friendly. We couldn’t be more happy for choosing the Grand Indian Route as our partner for this trip and we’re sure that if one day we decide to travel back to India, we’ll certainly get in touch with Karan for his assistance again. Thank you for such a great experience, Karan! Laura MVerified The perfect trip to Rajasthan Kabir understood exactly what we were looking for on our trip to Rajasthan. He was patient with us and flexible during the planning. Thanks to Kabir, our trip was the perfect combination of meeting colorful people, enjoying delicious food, staying in lovely hotels, visiting amazing cultural sites, exploring bustling cities, and experiencing the vast countryside with its small The pwrvillages and local experiences. We owe him a special thanks for connecting us with the best driver ever, Chamdan. Our next trip to India will definitely be organized by TGIR. We had Radheshyam as our guide who explained the significance of all these temples, including their historical background and importance to the cultural and religious landscape. We were treated with a group of women singing local folk songs and celebrating the occasion of Holi at the Shakti Peeth Mandir. the coloful ambiance and the smiles and joy on their faces were memorable.Wonderful experience with our guide in Vrindaban. GeorgieTT-UKVerified Amazing Tour of The Golden Triangle My husband and I had a amazing tour of India’s golden triangle thanks to Karan Jaswal and The Grand Indian Route tour company. The trip was well planned and everything went smoothly from start to finish. We were met at the airport by our exceptional driver Lallu who was with us for the entire tour. He chauffeured us around in a very comfortable, spacious vehicle which we were thankful for (my husband is 6’4”). The hotels were lovely, a wonderful refuge at the end of each busy day. Our guides were very knowledgeable about the history of India and the sites we were visiting. It was truly a memorable trip and we have some wonderful photos to look back on. Carol GVerified Photo Journey in Tribal Rajasthan I recently completed a 2 week tour with The Grand Indian Route and was thrilled with the experience. As a photo artist I found the photographic opportunities to be limitless, especially in regards to local tribes. The people were incredibly friendly and very receptive to photography which made the process very enjoyable. The tribal colours are intense and intoxicating. A kaleidoscope of hues, chroma and contrast; something between De Kooning and Rothko. And The Grand Indian Route took excellent care of all the logistics: great local Havelis, excellent meals and a fabulous car and driver. As a bonus I found the cost to be very reasonable with no extra fees or surprises. It was an excellent trip and has my highest recommendation. Robert BVerified An amazing experience in Rajhastan We have just returned from an affordable luxury tailor made trip to rural Rajhastan. It was a very enriching experience, and we had the most amazing time. The Great Indian Route planned the trip to the last detail, every step was smooth and well-coordinated from start to finish. Karan Jaswal, co-founder of the agency, constantly kept in touch with us during the trip to make sure that everything was right, moreover, he went beyond the planned itinerary to include extra experiences to match our interests. The guides were excellent, extremely knowledgeable of the sites, history and everyday life. And our driver, Pankaj, was the best ever. We stayed in spectacular heritage accommodations. We experienced everything possible, from temples, palaces and forts to bird sanctuaries, safaris and an amazing experience overnight in the desert, with camel ride included. But what we loved mostly, were the people, the tribes with their incredible colorful clothes and their warm welcomes. The Great Indian Route’s detailed planning made this a truly memorable journey. My first tour with them: but certainly not my last! EsterBCNVerified Mesmerized by Rajasthan (Udaipur,Jodhpur, Jaisalmer) As our prior trip to India was so professionally and nicely organized(it was South India) by this Company, we decied to give our North India travel plan into hands of Grand Indian route(GIR) again. And they fullfilled our high expectations.-1st thing to stress out- attention to the details- from the very start to the very end- you feel that trip is organised taking into account all your personal requests, none was forgotten. Small things (like traditional gifts upon arrival, thoughtfully selected places to stay, unique and such a nice places to eat, etc) gives so much additional ‘points’.-keeping as on the track- once we reached new place- our organizator Karan sends us message where we arrived, what are we going to do, what we should be prepared for. This felt nicely- like we are always cared of.-professional guides- we have visited Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhhpur - and in these locations we were having different guides who were showing us around. We appreciate how warm, professional and ready to fullfill all our wishes they were. We appreciate we were heard of that we like some local, non touristical experiences and we got to experience being guests at some locals! Guides are local and to addition to programme they organised in advance ,they also know best spots for dinner with nice view ,place where saree would be stich within a day, etc:) -authentic, yet qualitative places to stay- this I noticed during our prior visit in India that GIR are so good at selecting places that has some nice and unique Indian authenticity and at the same time meets European quality. This really contributed a lot to the trip so we enjoyed it! We were enjoying living in palaces, in suuuper nice place Indian village, we also were so much enjoing luxury desert camp. If we would be repeating - we would choose the same places to stay.I have no doubt we will use this Company for all our upcomings trips to India (I hope we will have a lot in the future as there are so many to cover!).Thank you for showing India from the side that you just keep admiring it! Justina DVerified An amazing trip to India I highly recommend trips with Karan. Full professionalism in preparing the trip, great organization, carefully refined plan, perfectly selected hotels exceeded the expectations, met the needs. A trip to India is like landing on another planet. Everything is different there, so if you are going to the land of a thousand gods, you must have a good guide who knows the mentality and customs of the Hindus.Thank you for a fantastically organized program and for the super efficient organization of the trip. The monsoon (July–September) adds a romantic sheen to the region, painting forts and gardens in lush hues. Summers (April–June) are warmer but offer thinner crowds and special seasonal experiences like rooftop dinners and desert sunsets.

- Pleasant weather for sightseeing, cultural festivals, and outdoor experiences.
- Off Season Charm: April – June
