Day to Day Itinerary
Welcome to India on this Pushkar Camel Fair Photo Tour!
Our representatives will meet and greet you at the Indira Gandhi International Airport of New Delhi, whisking you to your hotel for a smooth check-in and relaxing rest after your long flight.
As evening falls, we’ll delve into the vibrant bazaars of Old Delhi, camera in hand, to capture the kaleidoscope of colors, fabrics, and crowds that come alive in the narrow alleys and bustling streets. You can also explore the popular street foods of Delhi.

Today, we will start early and drive from Delhi to Agra.
The evening presents us with stunning photography opportunities. We start by capturing the serene beauty of the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, known as Baby Taj.
Next, we’ll head to Mehtab Bagh for a beautiful perspective on the Taj Mahal before finally arriving at the iconic monument itself bathed in the golden light of sunset.
Finally, the wonder of wonders at the Taj Mahal at sunset promises to be a photographer’s dream.
With the rest of the evening at leisure, you can wander through the vibrant bazaars and savor the local street food of Agra.
We begin day 3 of the Pushkar Camel Fair Photo Tour in Agra with a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal. We will be accompanied by our photography experts to ensure the best shots and give you all the key information.
A serene boat ride on the Yamuna River follows, offering a breathtaking view of the Taj.
Post breakfast, we head to the Agra Fort, marveling at its grandeur and intricate marble inlay work.
The day continues with an exploration of the city’s hidden gems, discovering local artisans and their ancient craftsmanship.
We close the day with the final visit to the Taj Mahal at sunset to capture from a unique, lesser-known vantage point.
We start early today and hit the road from Agra to Jaipur with two exciting stops along the way!
First, we will visit Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned Mughal city, which now is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next, we will explore the ancient Abhaneri Step Well, a stunning example of India's architectural ingenuity.
After a long day of exploration and journey, we arrive in Jaipur and enjoy a traditional dinner at a local restaurant, followed by an overnight stay.
Starting early, we explore the photogenic corners of the Pink City of Jaipur!
First, we’ll visit Panna Meena Stepwell, with its pastel-hued plaster making for a stunning backdrop.
Second, we head to Amber Fort, where our photography guide will help you capture its soul from unique angles and perspectives.
After lunch, our first stop will be the City Palace, the current royal family’s residence, and Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing ancient India's astronomical and astrological innovations.
Snap the authentic culture of Rajasthan through carpet weaving, block printing, and turban-tying demonstrations, offering photographic opportunities aplenty.
Today’s the day we delight in the sights, sounds, and colours of Jaipur’s bustling markets!
First, we visit the Flower Market, where the air is sweet with the scent of roses, marigolds, and jasmine. Watch as local women weave garlands and capture them haggling for the freshest blooms.
Next up, we head to the Milk Market, where traditional vendors proudly offer the creamiest dairy delights. Sample some local treats and snap the men in white dhotis and kurtas offering the purest milk products.
Now we make our way to Pushkar, a sacred city nestled between the hills and dunes. A cozy Swiss tent waits for a perfect experience of the Pushkar Camel Fair.
Are you ready for a visual feast?
Thousands of beautifully adorned camels, horses, and cattle, all are accompanied by their proudly dressed owners. If this isn't a photographers’ dream!
When the sun goes down, enjoy the performance from Kalbelia gypsies, followed by a delicious traditional dinner under the stars.
Rise and shine!
Today’s our prime day of this Pushkar Camel Fair Photo Tour. We’ll head to the fairground at dawn, when the light is golden, and the atmosphere is electric. Keep your cameras ready for a full-course visual feast as we wander through the dunes, lakeside, and fairground, unraveling the best photography opportunities at every turn.
After a morning of snapping away, we’ll refuel with breakfast and rest before returning to the fairground.
This time we also visit the sacred Brahma temple and Pushkar Lake, where hundreds gather daily to bathe and worship. Here, we get to snap portraits of villagers in traditional attire, commemorating the auspicious occasion.
Today we make an optional visit to the fairground to soak up the last of the Pushkar Camel Fair.
Post breakfast, we hit the road to Deogarh, and what a journey it is!
Stop and capture local women baking dung patties, drawing water from ancient wells, and carrying clay pots with ease. We’ll also catch the colorful sight of men and women working together in the fields, their turbans and sarees, testament to the timeless beauty of rural India.
As we arrive in Deogarh, the pace slows, and the charm of this tiny village wraps around us. We’ll explore the stunning Deogarh Mahal, a 17th-century palace turned luxury hotel. Spend the day wandering the palace grounds, exploring the village in all its tranquility.
Tonight, we take an evening Jeep safari through nearby villages, taking in the sights and sounds of rural Rajasthan. Overnight in Deogarh Palace.
This morning, we will embark on a unique adventure- a rural train ride on a vintage 1930s British track. As we chug along, the Aravalli hills and lush jungles unfold outside our windows, with tunnels and bridges adding to the thrill. Be prepared for breathtaking views, lively locals, and mischievous monkeys as our travel companions!
Afterwards, we are going to drive to Jodhpur, keeping an eye out for Rabari nomadic herders along the way. On arrival, we unwind with a relaxing evening. As the sun sets, we’ll head to the rooftop restaurant for a stunning view of Mehrangarh Fort, its grandeur bathed in golden light. Overnight in Jodhpur.
Start the day 10 of our Pushkar Camel Fair Photo Tour with a sunrise walking tour to a nearby hill, capturing mesmerizing views of Mehrangarh Fort and the Blue City of Jodhpur. Return to the hotel for breakfast, followed by a complete exploration of Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada, the royal cenotaph.
The evening calls for an exploration of the Clock Tower market, exploring the laneways and local homes with our photography guide. In this Blue City walking tour of Jodhpur, we discovered the maze of colorful buildings with religious graffiti on the walls, intricate Rajasthani architecture, and vibrant local life, with the imposing fort as a dramatic backdrop.
After breakfast, we bid farewell to Rajasthan and will be heading to the airport for our flight to Delhi. With the day at leisure, we relax in our hotel.
The evening is for us to visit the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, a beautiful Sikh temple. We get to witness the langar, a heartwarming community kitchen where volunteers cook and feed everyone. Feel free to join in and experience the spirit of service and community. Overnight in Delhi.
On our penultimate day of this Pushkar Camel Fair Photo Tour, today, we prepare to be enchanted by the rich history and unique charm of Old Delhi.
Post breakfast, we’ll go visit the 17th-century Jama Masjid. Next up is the UNESCO World Heritage gem Red Fort.
Next, the pulsating streets of Chandni Chowk call for us. We explore either by the popular rickshaw or on foot, capturing the candid sights of Old Delhi. The famous Spice Market awaits, a sensory wonderland where Asia’s largest spice bazaar comes alive with colorful stalls, enticing aromas, and lively traders.
We’ll pay our respects at Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial, and drive past the iconic India Gate and government buildings, including the President's house and Secretariat Houses.
Post lunch, it's time for us to make a final stop at the world's tallest brick tower, Qutub Minar. We close the day in awe of its beauty and majesty.
