Day to Day Itinerary

Arrive in Delhi, where your Rajasthan offbeat tour begins. Our representative will wait outside the airport to greet you with a warm Indian welcome. A private transfer will take you straight to your hotel.

Unwind and settle in. Or explore Delhi's nightlife. Whatever sails your boat!

Today, we’ll take a six-hour drive from Delhi to Churu, Rajasthan. Check in, refresh, and get ready to explore this quaint city in Rajasthan.

We explore Churu's best-known feature in the afternoon: its stunningly frescoed havelis. Kanhaiyalal Bagla Haveli and Surana Haveli showcase the heritage of Shekhawati architecture. We end the day at Sethani Ka Johara, a nineteenth-century stepwell that symbolises water conservation in the arid area.

Time to bid adieu to the frescoes of Churu and head southwest on a four-hour scenic drive to the golden town of Khimsar.

Khimsar Sand Dunes Village welcomes us with open skies and golden silence. Among the oh-so-many things it has to offer, you can explore the grand Khimsar Fort, ride a camel through the golden dunes, or go dune bashing for a shot of adventure. In the evening, the desert comes alive with Rajasthani folk performances. Call it a night with a warm local dinner under a starry sky.

After a serene morning in Khimsar, we leave for Nimaj, a tranquil escape in the heart of the Aravalli hills. Catch sight of the golden sands, sparse vegetation, and rural life in this three-hour journey.

We’ll visit the Chhatra Sagar reservoir as the sun begins its descent. You can snap a kaleidoscope of migratory birds in this former royal hunting ground. Accompanied by your loved ones, take a sundowner boat ride along the calm waters and the chorus of bird calls.

Wake up to a relaxed breakfast as we prepare to explore the heart of Nimaj today on your Rajasthan offbeat tour. Start the morning with a visit to Nimaj Fort, a 400-year-old ancestral haveli turned heritage site. Next up, we explore the famous Rajasthani attractions- Step Wells (Baoris) of Nimaj. These are underground art galleries carved in symmetry, not just ancient water systems. Midday takes us to the Nimaj village safari, but as guests. We’ll take you on a jeep into the fields where you meet the farming communities and learn about their traditional farming practices. If you’d like, sit with a local family for a warm, home-cooked Rajasthani meal. At sunset, stroll along Nimaj Lake and witness buffaloes bathing and children racing paper boats. Wind down at your stay, perhaps over local snacks or a short storytelling session around the bonfire.

On our Rajasthan offbeat tour, day six calls for a new destination. Ranakpur, the grand “temple town of Rajasthan”, welcomes us wholeheartedly. We begin with a visit to the crown jewel, Ranakpur Jain Temple. Dedicated to Lord Adinath, this marble marvel is a significant pilgrimage site for the Jain community. Once you’re done witnessing this architectural masterpiece and chanting your prayers, conclude the day with a relaxed stroll through the local markets near the temple. Explore stalls offering carved wood, marble statues, silver ornaments, pottery, and more. If this isn’t a perfect opportunity to engage with the locals and land on unique Rajasthani souvenirs, we don’t know what is!

Today, we take a four-hour drive south from Ranakpur to the “city of hills”, Dungarpur. Upon arrival, check in and rest up. We will spend the evening strolling through the local bazaars of Dungarpur. Keep an eye out for green stone crafts, traditional silver jewellery, and tribal textiles. Don’t forget to try the local street food, like mirchi vada, khaman dhokla, and the slightly sweet dal baati churma.

To add the shade of royalty to your Rajasthan offbeat tour, we’ll start with a guided tour of the Udai Bilas Palace. Standing strong since the nineteenth century, this heritage property is famed for its detailed jharokhas, Rajputana architecture, and Italian marble work. Up next, we head to the Juna Mahal, a thirteenth-century palace perched atop a hill. We’ll end the day with prayers at the temples surrounding the charming Gaib Sagar Lake. Capture the laid-back view of Dungarpur here in your shutter.

After breakfast, we set off on a four-hour drive to Chittorgarh. Upon arrival, check into your heritage hotel. Later, we’ll explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Chittorgarh Fort. Skip the mainstream attractions and focus on lesser-known areas like the Vijay Stambh, Padmini Palace, and Kalika Mata Temple. Cap your day off with a walk around the fort's outer walls for a serene view of the town.

Post breakfast, we take a serene and scenic drive to Bundi. Enjoy three hours of countryside vistas, crumbling old havelis, and occasional, blue-washed homes. On day ten of our Rajasthan offbeat tour, you’ll know we’re in Bundi when the roads get quieter, and the pace slows down. Check in and rest up in the sleepy, soulful charm, and before you know, it’s time to head out. We’ll begin our sightseeing with Taragarh Fort (commonly, Bundi Fort). Perched atop the Garh Palace(which, by the way, is also a tourist attraction!), Taragarh Fort opens a panoramic window into Bundi’s blue-hued houses and the unfiltered beauty of the enveloping hills. We’ll make our final stop for the day at the crown jewel of the “city of stepwells”, Raniji Ki Baori. This historic stepwell, layered with arches and intricate carvings, acts as a photogenic backdrop for your portraits. Cap your night off in this undiscovered gem with shopping in the local markets.

After a smooth three-hour drive from Bundi, we arrive at Sawai Madhopur, the gateway to the legendary Ranthambore National Park. Good news for you, wildlife lovers, we’ll embark on a guided tiger safari in the afternoon. Buckle up and keep your eyes peeled for the mighty Royal Bengal Tiger, as well as leopards, sloth bears, and a variety of bird species. That’s not all, we’ll visit the Ranthambore Fort, a tenth-century UNESCO World Heritage Site located within this reserve. The evening is free for relaxing and reflecting on the wild adventures of the day.

It’s time for our last stop in Rajasthan on this Rajasthan offbeat tour. After a roughly three-hour drive, we arrive at the quiet, wild village of Tehla. And, if you didn’t know, Tehla is the gateway to the famous Sariska Tiger Reserve. Post check-in and a light refreshment, we will head straight into the heart of Sariska National Park for an afternoon guided jeep safari. Catch sight of leopards in the shadows, hyenas slinking across dusty trails and peacocks dancing on broken walls in your lens. Call it a night while soaking in the quiet thrill of our last Rajasthan chapter.

This morning, we’ll bid farewell to our Rajasthan offbeat tour and take a comfortable drive to Jaipur Airport for a short flight to Delhi. After checking in at your hotel and a well-deserved rest, you can spend the evening at your own rhythm. Whether you wish to unwind indoors and reflect on your journey. Or step out for a last taste of Delhi- the irresistible street food, or the vibrant bazaars.

With hearts full of fun-filled memories of this Rajasthan offbeat tour, we’ll whisk you to the Delhi Airport for your journey back home. We bid you a warm farewell and hope to see you soon!
